Claret Centre – BUCKDEN TOWERS- 2016 Activities

The Great Tower, ideal place for youth groups. Between 1 January and 31 October 2016 38 Groups used the Great Tower, all except 3 of which were churches or school groups.

catinactionThe Victorian House, ideal for conferences and residential adult groups. 35 groups enjoyed residential stays in the Main House for :-

  • Courses (e.g NHS, Play Therapy and Local Authority Departments)
  • Group Retreats
  • Formal gatherings (musicians, singers and actors)
  • Private functions

In addition, the Centre continues to be extremely popular with schools, churches and local businesses looking to hold meetings in peaceful surroundings, and parishioners wishing to celebrate special occasions, such as weddings, anniversaries and baptisms.

Catering is available upon request. Once again we were proud to have been awarded the highest Food Hygiene Rating given by Huntingdon District Council in association with the Food Standards Agency.

FREQUENT SOCIETIES: At other times our facilities were enjoyed by many societies including: Workers` Educational  Association; Whist Club; Womens` Institute; Magistrates` Association; Catholic Womens` League; Girl Guides; History Societies; District Churches Together; Union of Catholic Mothers
